2023 SEASON!!

REGISTRATION ONLINE

Registration is now open. Please remember that if you plan on attending camp and playing this season you MUST register first.

Use the following link,

Major-Senior: https://www.sportzsoft.com/regApp/Login?OrgId=6859

Registration links will also appear on the OLA website.

Within each registration portal are series tabs (ie: Junior “A”; Junior “B”; Junior “C”) used for player registrations. The additional tab designated OTHER, is used to capture all non-playing personnel under two categories:

  • Coaches, Bench Personnel & Volunteers
  • General Managers

All players register in a Tryout or Team status to include all those interested in trying out for your team, as well as those returning players. The SportzSoft system automatically generates a confirmation of all properly completed registrations via email (sent directly to players, who will have that confirmation email on their cell phone or can print out as an option).  Players can share their registration status prior to on-floor sessions by providing a print copy of the completed registration email or showing the email on their cell phone.

Do you want to tryout and become a member of the Ennismore James Gang? Registration is now open! All players may register here, in a Tryout/Team status for both returning players and those interested in trying out for our Senior B squad! The additional “other” tab can be used if you wish to volunteer with the Gang this season! Once registered you will receive a confirmation of registration via email to show prior to the beginning of tryouts.

New in 2022 is an OLA Vaccination Policy to ensure the safety of players, coaches and volunteers. You should review the Policy here. Also, a review of the existing Rowan’s Law concussion awareness resources are a requirement of OLA registration.

Good Luck, and get ready to #GangUp!

Peterborough lacrosse, 150 year tradition continues

This year the Peterborough lacrosse community is celebrating 150 years of the oldest and most successful sport in the city’s history.

The game began here in 1872 with the first team the Red Stockings. Peterborough won its first championship five years later and since that time has won 29 senior and junior national championships and more than 150 provincial titles.

A local committee, headed by Tim Barrie, has been formed to celebrate the game’s anniversary with a big week of lacrosse being planned for the last week of June ending with the celebration of Canada’s birthday on July 1.

A logo, designed by former lacrosse player Jamie Plunkett of apparel company UncommonFit,  has been selected. The committee, made up of all local lacrosse organizations, is encouraging all businesses, fans, anyone who wants to join the celebrations to promote and celebrate  ‘the fastest game on two feet’.

More exciting news on the celebrations will follow in the weeks to come.
