History

james
In 2011 the team took on the “James Gang” and features a patch on the shoulder of the jerseys. James is the son of coach Jim Johnston and his wife June, and has been sadly missed since August 8th, 1993. In his memory, the team has adopted the name “James Gang”
With a lacrosse stick in hand at age 3, James wore his #16 jersey proudly. A competitive player, with a drive to win, James was a true leader on the floor. He was well respected by his team mates and they in turn became a large part of his life.
James and his dad shared a deep passion for the game of lacrosse. Jim believes that if the team can learn to play with the same characteristics and passion his son did, then they will have much success on and off the floor.

The OLA senior B team started out as the Ennismore Shamrocks in 2002. They moved to Lakefield for the 2006 season beforerelocating to Norwood in 2007 where they were originallycalled the Nitro before adopting the James Gang nickname.
